Teddy’s Story

Last summer Sarah and I had kicked around the idea of adding another dog to the household. Something small and manageable that would be a good playmate for Lexie….maybe a beagle or something similar. After browsing some local rescue sites, Sarah stumbles across a picture of a Merle Great Dane wearing a party hat. That was it…she was hooked.

Further research revealed that the big fella (originally named Brutus) had been staked to a tree on a short leash; where he was underfed and basically had to sit in his own feces for an extended period of time and inexplicably had a small bullet in one of his hips. Neighbors would throw food over the fence and beg the douchebag owner to give him up. Determined to not lose any money on the dog, the owner insisted that someone pay for his original cost of the dog. A very selfless neighbor actually paid this dick to give up his mistreated dog to a rescue….unbelievable.

An adoption application, several emails, and a few phone calls later… Teddy Bear joined the Bond Household…

Welcome Home Teddy!

I can’t describe the impact Teddy has had on our home. He’s a blast to play with, Lexie loves him, and when he’s not sleeping…it’s ramming speed! I’ve posted an album for Teddy in the gallery….…go check him out. Teddy rules!

  1. I’m guessing the problem has been already fixed since I don’t recieve the error, but it was impossible for me to get on your website yesterday. My browser would just load a blank page with nothing on it. Maybe its just my computer im not exactly sure.

  2. my dad loves big party hats and i also gave a set of party hats to him–,

if that is the only cruel way that you can train your dog then find a good home for him and with any luck in a few weeks these things will be banned as kennel club are so against them as they are so cruel
